i have several foscam IP cameras ( Fi8918W) that allows me to see my home from anywhere in a universe that has an Internet connection,we had some issues with cleared out and discolored images on a FI8918W , it wasn't so terrible , though this new FI8910W has a IR cut filter and fixes a problems associated to cleared out and discolored images , it is $10.00 some-more , though if I'm profitable 89.99 (which is a unequivocally low cost for such a device in a initial place) this $10.00 cannot make a large disproportion . Also The camera looks and feels nicer and some-more durable afterwards a aged one . BTW a aged one had a 1 Year guaranty and this has a 2 year also something to consider about.

Much softened over prior models

This is my second camera from them. My initial camera was a 8905W and it worked excellent for a year afterwards a wireless stopped working. I'm anticipating my new camera lasts longer.

I had a singular event to see this camera in movement before we purchased it and was tender with a specs and palliate of use. It's illumination design is excellent for my needs as we usually use it to cover a initial building opening way. It's margin of perspective is adequate and a design is transparent adequate to make out sum such as objects on a building or on a list in a other room. It's night prophesy is excellent for a good 20 feet, maybe a small some-more of finish dark and 50+ in low light. The wireless setup was a zephyr and a web control works great. The usually reason we give this 4 stars is it's miss of Zoom. This is a PT Camera ONLY. There is no wizz and that would have done this a ideal camera for a price. The camera has an outward sourroundings that severely improves a design peculiarity when observation a outdoors. Unfortunately this is an indoor camera though observation by a window mirror constructed no conspicuous glare.
However, observation by a window shade blacked out a design completely. Night observation by a window mirror was invalid as a IR LED's constructed a blinding glare. If your going to use this camera outdoor, we advise holding a sourroundings into comment and glisten by potion enclosures.
The audio works well. we used a stereo Mic and mini mechanism speakers to exam it (Just wanted to see if it indeed worked) as we have no genuine need for a permanent hook-up. The mother only yells adult a stairs anyway.
They offer a program bundled package from a manufacturer for a improved understanding than purchasing both separately.
All in all, not a bad camera for a price.

I Love This Camera

I bought this camera as a baby guard resolution for my Baby . we have a iPhone and iPad , and carrying this camera has been a good choice to unchanging baby monitor's as we can see whats going on anywhere we go , and use it as a Nanny cam . we unequivocally like a ability to control a camera. The setup can be a small formidable though there are some good posts online to assistance we on possibly PC or Mac. we would rarely suggest this camera.The setup for permitting entrance to a camera outward your internal network does need some specialized believe on how to configure pier forwarding on your router. Depending on your imagination that might be an issue, But if we go to a foscam website they to have all instructions how to do it , and after sourroundings it adult I'm Happy now .
